Helping in the Upper Valley!

Here’s the thing–we are hitting our stride now. It has been almost a month. We are getting used to our new routines–and changing our lives accordingly.

After assessing your extra time you may find one of the volunteer opportunities listed below to be a good fit and it might expand your life in unexpected ways.

The list of ten museum tours might catch you in its grip and you might not be seen for hours! There is also a list of amazing first-run movies/documentaries that will probably go on your must-see list. The FiveThirtyEight podcast is gripping in other ways–giving us a realistic read on mail-in voting. Listen while you go on a virtual museum tour!

And although our governor has been getting good marks for closing the schools for the rest of the term and issuing shelter-in-place orders . . .he still hasn’t changed his mind on self-allocating the federal money the state has received . . . quite trumpian! Use the Twitter tool to send him a message!

And finally, the UVDems is jumping into the Zoom world on April 27th. Please join us while we listen to Maynard Goldman speak to the elections ina post COVID-19 world. Voting will surely be different!

Stay safe, stay engaged, stay home!
