Events move on line with COVID-19 disruption!

Admittedly, we are sailing in un-chartered waters! With a scrambled, bumbled Biden event on Facebook Live to confusion about what should be postponed, what should be cancelled, the entire country is living without any script to follow. The population has stepped up en masse and we couldn’t be prouder to be taking precautionary measures to put this virus down for good. That doesn’t mean there aren’t glitches and disappointments along the way.

Meeting platforms and webinar software is being tested and sometimes works like a charm and other times not so much. People will figure it out.

What all of this means is that cancellations and changes are happening at lightening speed and we need to stay tuned in. The UVDems first foray into online programming will take place during the previously scheduled date and time–March 23 at 6:30.

There will be a Facebook Live feed provided and a backup video to watch later. The subject could not be more timely–the Electoral College–should it (can it) be repealed? So stay tuned and we will provide you with the tools to participate.

This is a game changer for everyone so patience is appreciated. We are dearly hoping that everyone stays healthy, well-fed, and can make the best of this terrible situation.

And don’t forget the Democratic Presidential Primary Debate!

The Electoral College- Should we worry?

Have you wondered how the Electoral College can snatch victory out of the jaws of a big loss?? We certainly have. Some estimates say Trump could lose the popular vote by as many as 5 million votes and STILL win the Electoral College. Is this true? Mark your calendars for our March 23 program on the electoral college and learn the answer! Let’s get educated on this subject and find out if we’re happy with this and if not, what can we do to change it!

We have to be fair and let you know that this week, Sununu SAD Facts is being replaced with Sununu Good Facts! Today’s paper reported that Sununu has announced that New Hampshire will jump in with other states in fighting the effort of 18 states to dismantle the ACA through a challenge to its constitutionality.  Of course he’s not all bad BUT with our future Democratic governor in office, we will never have to be surprised and shocked when a good decision comes out of Concord! Thank you Gov. Sununu for being on the right side of the ACA.

There is a lot going on so check out the opportunities below to find something that might align with your interests. And think about writing postcards! They have streamlined the process to get your postcard to where it is needed most.
