What: NH March for Voting Rights

When: (Saturday April 1, 2017, 1:00PM) POSTPONED TIL SUNDAY, APRIL 2 , 1:00 PM

Where: Concord High School to the State House

On Saturday April 1, 2017 following “crossover day” in the legislature, Open Democracy and the NH Rebellion will lead the NH March for Voting Rights from Concord High School to the State House. The 1.2 mile march through downtown Concord will bring together hundreds of concerned citizens and numerous advocacy organizations dedicated to our democracy. Co-sponsors include: American Civil Liberties Union/NH; America Votes; American Friends Service Committee/NH; Granite State Progress; League of Women Voters/NH; NH Peace Action; Veterans For Peace/NH; NH Unites for Humanity; Liberty Lobby LLC; League of Conservation Voters; NH Independent Voters; NH Citizen’s Alliance and The Resistance Seacoast.

After the walk, we will hold a Rally at the State House featuring students, veterans, and other leaders.

Following the Rally, we will have activist training sessions. Training sessions will include: Organizing 101, How to Call Your Representatives, How to Lobby, the Power of Social Media, Public Speaking, Phone Banking Options.

Planned Parenthood Volunteer Meeting, April 2, Howe LIbrary

Sunday April 2nd from 3-5pm for our Upper Valley Planned Parenthood Volunteer Meeting at the Howe Library in Hanover, NH.

At this meeting volunteers, supporters and activists from all across the Upper Valley are invited to learn more about what is on the horizon regarding the federal fights for Planned Parenthood. I invite you to join me and others in your community to talk about what we can do on a local level to stand up against the attacks.
