Goals: maintaining the safety net for elders & those with chronic illness/ disabilities,
protecting reproductive health choices, ensuring that your children have access to an adequate education
and institutions of higher learning, emphasizing preventive interventions where ever possible to insure
healthy and safe communities for all NH residents.

Legislative committee: Executive Department and
Administration which addresses anyone and anything that
has a license in NH including but not limited to anyone
working in the health service, building trade or cosmetology
industries. Two new areas for licensure that were
established during this past legislative session were gas
fitters and crematoriums. The committee recommended passage
of legislation that creates a collaborative practice
agreement between pharmacist and MDs in certain settings,
regulates Texas Hold'em and makes emergency contraception
available. These bills all were signed into law this past
spring by Gov. Lynch.
