Public Safety Committee;
formerly on Ways & Means Committee.
Currently serving on several sub-committees dealing with:
 - Classification of Sex Offenders;
 - appropriate Registry and release to public of offender information;
 - improvement of Training in Mental Health for police & corrections officers;
 - Sentence Reduction for "good time";
 - mandatory sentences; and
 - sale & possession of weapons other than firearms.
Other bills sponsored address:
 - implementation of end-of-life (living wills, guardianship and DNR) legislation;
 - eyewitness identification;
 - resolution in support of stem cell research;
 - funding for drivers education;
 - raising age for tobacco purchase and use of tobacco settlement money;
 - school emergency preparedness planning; and
 - review of prisoner health care.
Testified on several bills re education, choice, lake water quality (milfoil, etc.), dam safety, and family court.
Participate in the Legislative Caucus for Young Children (and Families).

Currently, Long Term Care Ombudsman Volunteer and active in colonial reenactment.
Attended Univ. of Virginia, AB from Bard College and MA from Antioch New England.
Nationally Certified Counselor.
A Lebanon resident for 26 years. Wife, Pam; daughter, Mo (LHS '05); step-daughter, Claudia Simard; and mother, Jane are all Lebanon residents.
Deeply concerned with the quality and funding of education (pre-school through college), availability and cost of health care, addiction prevention and treatment, affordable housing for all, day care, adequate wages, the environment and the preservation of our NH heritage.
