Trying to keep up with events!

So many good things are happening. No matter what their affiliation, lots and lots of people are devoted to getting citizens to vote in the primary and general elections coming up. That’s the key. Getting people to REGISTER TO VOTE and then encouraging them to have their voices heard by voting either by absentee or in person. We are spreading the word in a non-partisan, open way, hoping of course that the majority of those we reach will see the light (our light) and help us vote Dems in all down the ticket.

We are so fortunate to have good, solid candidates running in the primary in September. Either Andy Volinsky or Dan Feltes would give us reason to hold our heads high and be proud of our state as governor. Right now, the person who holds that position has dishonored families by vetoing the family leave bill and has shown an inability to understand what people are going through by vetoing the medical leave bill. So who does he support and back? well, firstly, himself and his family and after that corporations. Families and people who work in New Hampshire are left in the dust.

If you haven’t totally become bleary-eyed by zooming, there are many important meetings to attend. Check out the calendar and zoom to your heart’s content. On July 16 the Rockefeller Center’s confab between the gubernatorial candidates should be a not-to-be-missed occasion. And on July 21st, the Lebanon Dems will give us a state senator conversation between Beatriz Pastor of Lyme and  Sue Prentiss of Lebanon. In all cases we couldn’t be more fortunate to have any of these candidates win their primary.

That’s it for now. The gardens are exploding with abundance, the weather has been cooperating nicely and we couldn’t be more excited for election season to be upon us!
